At this point any chipset this fast will produce a lot of heat. It's only as much thermal mass available yet we have chipsets that pump higher clocks.

Even the ASUS ROG Phone 5 with an AeroCooler plug-in fan couldn't dissipate enough high temperature when Notebookcheck.net made a review about it: https://www.notebookcheck.net/ROG-Phone-5-Asus-is-only-partially-able-to-tame-the-Snapdragon-888.532693.0.html

When Qualcomm copy the Exynos 9820 rather than the Exynos 2100.
Oh wait, isn't the new Qualcomm manufactured by Samsung?

I wonder what Qualcom is thinking here! 888 is plenty fast already for almost all the work case scenarios. Why overclock like this and make it worse!!

I am guessing that Qualcomm would he introducing another high end/flagship processor, before the end of the year.

I don't care about the spec bump. I just wanna know if Qualcomm fixed the overheating issue and made the chip more efficient. Since the 888 is an double edged sword
