Not saying their architecture is bad, but... There's probably ways to spent those resources more effectively in some other hands. Not saying who's, but... just mentioning this objective truth...

For example most people don&#... moreI bought S20 FE 5G with case and put on shield for display, it took couple weeks and the glass was in several pieces after dropping on carpet from knee height couple times.
It's because of the soft plastic back cover that bends on impact and puts stress on display. They really made a mistake with the material choice, it is what it is. Even some support frame on back would've probably silenced all complains.
But I'm really not complaining, display works fine and there hasn't been any other issues so far. Maybe some slight overheating in high net traffic, probably because the 5G module being separated from CPU and I suspect it's the extra electricity routes inside the covers what heats the device.
But, there's fans for that and with one small USB-fan you can use the phone for streaming 60Hz full HD and 6Mbps bitrate gaming on PC without worries of heating during midsummer heatwaves...
It's actually a masterpiece of a phone for that price. 6 GB RAM is enough for a long while since it's low power DDR5 memory and I've never seen usage gone above 4,3 GB so far. (while playing, which is smooth and looks nice as well...)
I guess, if that plastic being the only bad choice they made, it makes public hyper focus on the issue and it may seem like overblown criticism as there's no other subject to criticise, since it's the only one. So, it should be fine... if you can make the screen last until you really need to update device to match surrounding infrastructure.

For example most people don't care about a plastic back since most people don't use a device without a case. If they had a choice between plastic back or paying more money for glass they won't see, most would go with plastic.
People on these and other similar forums think niche opinions are popular when the average user don't know/recognize even half the things they're complaining about.

I was appalled when I put to test my Flagship killer S20 FE with the cheaply priced Note 9s and the Note 9s performed very smooth and lag free while S20 suffered real bad with lowest settings 30 fps (talking about Genshin Impact)... Really hurt me a a customer who spent so much to buy Samsung Exynos c*rap over a much much low priced Xiaomi and still the cheap one performed better (On medium settings with 60fps).... Now u know my pain

Samsung has very nice chips, but... Exynos 2100 is not strong compared to SD 888.
They should at least use SD 870 in this case.
Meanwhile...
Why they are NOT releasing phones with Exynos 1080 and 980? Has a LOT of potential to show to us.

Rather then sharing useless info and waste time why dont you test the Exynos 990 and SD 720 side by side and then for once share something useful that helps others, rather then being a s tupid fanboy.

Why dont you test any two phones side by side one with Exynos 990 and other with SD 720.... No one gives a F*ck about the technicalities, its the functionality that matters... I totally agree with you. Exynos is a little worse but not as bad as these guys trying to. I would say price to performance ratio is even better than SD cause exynos S series phones are much cheaper.

I really wish people could get over the whole SD Vs Exynos thing, the Exynos 1080 is certainly abled enough as is the 2100, even alongside Dimensity 1100/1200...
Not to mention it's just powering a phone, the mobile phone is master of nothing, dedicated DSLRs, Computers or gaming consoles etc are the thing you should look at for professional purposes.
It's only a phone.
Using a Galaxy Tab S7, powered by a SD 870 and it's still easily fast enough!!
If Sammie & Qualcomm hadn't been so eager to power-up so much both thermal throttling & efficiency would have been a lesser problem that it otherwise has been..
I'd give it's to Samsung this year though for its Exynos 1080 & 2100...
