[deleted post]I really don't get this attitude!
And also even if the case is plastic, it still heats up your hand through it, it's not a perfect insulator. And try touching something 45C+ for more than 10secs and don't complain, then we'll see whos sissy.

Good decision. SD888 runs hot and Battery life is a joke compared to last years SD865.

Snapdragon are useless at rooting. The XDA Devs don't and hate Snapdragon, but love Exynos.

I prefer SD chip over Exynos but SD888 is a bit different case. I will go with a bit downgrade chip like 870/865+/865 but 888 is no no for me. Rog 5 burns like hell. I am very much fine with 865/865+ in S21 FE. S20 FE with 865+ is very good choice instead of S21 FE. If leaked camera specs of S21 FE are real then S20FE is better choice then Exynos chip. It is far better then Exynos version of S20FE.

Snapdragon 888 is a frying pan without thermal setup inside!
As samsung s21 fe might miss thermal system, so it's better to go with Exynos 2100!
My thoughts.

Exynos 2100 is somewhere between SD870 and SD888, performance wise. Thus being said, is not a bad chipset, so get over it. Is better than what Exynos 990 was last year.
Sadly, it still heats up in heavy usage, especially on smaller devices (like my previous Galaxy S21). But, this is an issue with SD870 and SD888 also.
Also, the way Samsung prices are dropping, it's worth it right now. Never buy a Samsung phone immediately after release.

It’s better to have the Exynos 2100 rather than the SD 888 which has a ton of hardware issues that Qualcomm will never ever admit. It’s bad karma for having it quickly manufactured because of peer pressure.

"This will offset the delay at least a little bit."
Could this be a possibility for Samsung to launch the S21 FE with Exynos 2100 first and then followed it with a separate launch of S21 FE with Snapdragon 888? Unless Samsung is using that Exynos chipset to launch a 4G-only S21 FE, it's hard to see that coming.

Exynos 2100 is very skippable/only buy with deep discount kind of chipset. It's a nerfed SD888 without any advantage over it. Wait and see for the much touted Exynos 2200.

There goes my reason for buying one then...
The Snapdragon and lower price were the 2 main reasons the S20FE is a hit in Europe. People clearly prefer a SD865 or a SD888 to any current Exynos chip.
