I have the S21 plus, aka the one with 12mpx cameras, not 108 that the ultra has. The 108 mpx is trash, that's why I don't have the ultra.
    Also, their entire S10 lineup, s9, s8 and s7 had 12mpx cameras.
Their regular s21, s20 and s20 plus and s21 plus have 12mpx cameras.

As a brand new phone i could gaming for 8-9 hours until battery died after 3 and half years it was just 2 hours when gaming but for any other purpose it lasted 36 to 48 hours. After 3 and half years sounds like bad but its not that bad for a heavy gamer.
Now i have new phone and sold my old Moto X4 in top condition apart the battery to a very good friend and he is very happy with that phone. Because as i said after 3 and half years apart the battery phone havent single bruise or something worse.
Without knowing the battery got drained a bit cuz i love gaming it was loking like a brand new device.

786, 05 Jul 2021The degradation rate is affected by several factors includi... moreMan maybe but batteries from present phone doesnt afloat like batteries on old feature phones.
And thats mor eimportant because it cant degrade on its own in like week for example.
In past dark age of phones i had Siemens A50. At first week of use it was great even for a very basic phone but after month battery lasted only few hours. 7
After half year i werent unable to type text or make a call without discharging i mean disconnecting my phone from charger.
Something like that is not possible in current phones.
Even if you try to kill your battery by overloading or keeping it at charger for a several days it will wont happen that it went afloat and die in month after purchase.

To all those who comment here, "which is to damage the battery", "they want you to change your phone every 6 months", and everything they can think of

Do you know that it is not mandatory to charge the phone with a 200W charge? Just charge it up with your 10W charger and everyone happy, actually at least they have the ability to analyze?

It's not just Xiaomi, but Chinese brands in general really love to launch new phones every four to six months. By the time you managed to buy a brand new Chinese smartphone that was launched six months ago, they already got a new one just around the corner.

Oh my God, do you really buy a new phone spending I don't know how much money only because the battery has degraded? Seriously guys..It's like buying a new car only because the tires are degraded..Come on, you're smarter than this.

Instead of focusing on these gimmicks crap why they don' t focus to make bigger batteries and finding a way to make them removible again, would't be more useful? Just my 2 cents, or better my 2 euro cents. I like innovation, technology going forward and so on, but the battery life on most smartphones, especially those which cost almost 1 month of salary or more, still sucks.

There is no excuse for any phone not to have replaceable batteries. What blocks are you yapping about? "Dangerous" of batteries being user replaceable? Classic FUD. LOL I work in the field, a real chemical engineer here, don't spew nonsense if you don't know the subject. Batteries can be made ultra safe while still being user replaceable, it is no engineering challenge here as it has been done and dusted, it's now only a question of if there is a business will to do it. However because there is no governance threat by rule of law, companies will try and get away with any BS that nets them a profit. You spewing that marketing drivel just speaks volumes about the public at large, they are totally misinformed about what the practical applications of various tech are.

It's perfect for me get ride of my phone ever 1-2y anyway
I watch a lot of movies play game and surf the web ect.
So I prefer a phone I can top up quickly and disconnect to the charger.
How the phone performs 4years in is not really a problem.for me and I guess ppl that are concerned can always use a slow charger seams like a none issue really
The faster the better and if you don't like it charge it slow.
