06 July 2021
But it will be a newer, more refined version of the current 108MP ISOCELL HM3 unit.

If not this device, then s23 ultra will come with 192 mpx on board.

I thought the HM3 itself is already a more refined version of the HM1 sensor? But anyway, I wonder what kind of refinement Samsung will bring to the current HM3 sensor.

There is no space inside a cell phone.

Check photos of cam system of Sharp R6.
It is huge. The pixel area is no more than 50% of overall sensor size.
Samsung sensors have larger frame than sony counterpart.

Brands need to choose single camera 1" or multi setup.

Some people here will complain samsung is not bring a new 108MP 1/1.3" .
It would not make any difference.
I doubt raw file from HM1 and HM3 have more than 1-2% IQ difference.

It's a secret to me as to why wouldn't the manufacturers place the cameras vertically and thus have a stable smartphone when placing the phone on the table and working with it!!!

samsung needs to up their game in camera department and start adding bigger sensors, the ultra wide is pure crap in medium to low light conditions. They should improve ALL sensors not only the main one and even the main one this year fall behind some competitors which is unacceptable for the price they asking for .
Main sensor needs to be 1 inch big and ultra wide as big the main sensor from s21 ultra or i'm skipping once again samsung and waiting for maybe huawei to fix their issues.

Snapdragon 895+ (most probably the first one to use it in series production), smaller display around 6.1 inch, following lower refresh rate smaller than 120hz, in order to positively affect the battery life, OLED display with LPTO technology.
Regarding camera field, cooperation with Olympus is mentioned, hopefully we will see some in practise.

                              I trust Samsung😘😘😘
