DMX, 06 Jul 2021They are for the phonePhone won't be able to drive many overheads and are really only suited to driving IEMs. You won't be able to get them loud enough. You should at least hook overheads up to an external dac/amp to get decent sound but they may still not be able to drive some expensive planars.

[deleted post]Where do you live? Start with something inexpensive. Koss Kph30i is brilliant if it is available. Don't get bothered by the looks. It can topple something from much higher price range.
Philips Shp9500 and shp9600 are also really good and easy to drive. After that get a dacamp and by that time you will know what you want.
