What's the big deal in using an outdated design, screen, camera, etc.?

What other choice you have? Can you get rid of that ugly notch or gas burner design on back on iPhone 13 series?
IOS users start celebrating like it's Christmas with very little choice they get, similar to pris0ners cheering every upgrade in their meals, without realizing that there is a buffet of choices for Android users out there.

LEEDAQ, 14 Jul 2021do you realise a large number of iPhone users hold their ph... moreYeah, but muh planned obsolescence and how Apple purposely somehow forces us to buy new iPhone every year!!!!1111 And when I mention I still use iPhone XR because it serves me so well they start throwing pathetic accusations at me how I have "bad taste" and that I'm "poor" (because poor people totally buy 850€ devices). No, I just use phone without any software support anxiety for the first time in 10 years. These people are so funny. They attack us for not buying new model every year and ridicule us for still using older models. Make up your minds already lol

Googles flagship should provide some competition to the almighty iphone.

Anonymous, 14 Jul 202190 million iPhones?? Such a sad state of affairs for iOS. ... moreWhat a short sighted one you are, there are lots of manufacturers for android, and, a greater number of brands, sub brands and no name devices, iphones are made and sold by just ONE company, and that is a really huge achievement

OhNom, 14 Jul 2021Do you know that it is 90 million for initial order? Did yo... moreThey just don't get it that you can't compare all these companies bunched up together and compare it to Apple only as some sort of "entire Android segment" vs Apple. You can only really compare Samsung vs Apple or at least BBK as a group holding several brands like OnePlus, Oppo and Realme and put it against Apple, not entire industry.

It's also laughable how they keep on bringing up that 1 billion whatever Android units. Yeah, from hundred Android device makers of which huge majority are cheap phones and multimedia devices because Android is free and they can just slap it left and right on toasters, blenders, TV set up boxes and phones. iOS was developed by one single company and it was done from scratch where everyone else just took Google's work and now they're "most advanced". Mhm, okay. These people don't even comprehend how Android's ecosystem even exists and functions yet they are the loudest about Apple's ecosystem and how it's walled garden this and closed ecosystem that and they don't even understand their own one they keep on raving about to no ends.

They also like to apply same logic to actual Android vs iOS debates where they just take entire Android segment, pick all the best features from individual vendors and present them as "Android" and brag how it has all these magical things and iOS has nothing. Yeah, compare OneUI to iOS or OxygenOS to iOS, not "Android" from everyone to iOS. But they don't get it here either. No, just stop comparing literal oranges to Apple. That's my problem. Because "Android" feature you can only count something that's universally present on every single Android device which basically means Google needs to put that feature in Android AOSP and every company using Android then gets that by default.

Granted, Samsung still leads because they make good Android phones mostly.

                                    Thats a lot of E-Waste.
Every half baked xiaomi or any other brand is a lot better in every aspect.
Also have much more user friendly android OS to my honest opinion.

Still not sure I'm sold on that camera arrangement on the regular models.........
