I will probably sell my tab 7.7 for this device but wont get it until it has a minimum of 32GB.
How much room is left on a new 16GB nexus 7 with no apps or data? I'm guessing it is in the 12GB range?

Typical ... moreSo Steve. you do know that samsung have no say over how the tablet is made as Google have strict specs for the nexus tablet. google are trying to move away from expandable. so maybe research a little before posting. thanks mate.
Tablet looks ok. performance sounds amazing. cant wait to hear more from this one.

It's about time for evolution, why isn't there any company think of making pads and tablets with big screen but thinner frame, I could always see them with the same old outdated look with the old fed up big frame

What's this obsession with non expandable storage? Typical Samsung, build a tablet for someone else with a better screen than your own flag ship tablet. Get your act together! You'd complete better against Apple if your marketing department had half a clue.

SAZ542, 27 Oct 2012Who places the touch buttons so wide and so far... it looks... moreDude talking about ergonomics, dont forget it is a tablet and with the huge screen cramping the buttons makes no sense. In fact it makes it easier for two hand operation (it is a tablet you see and you cant expect one hand operation on it)

Look at the scratches on the back of this Nexus! I am impressed with the specs and am confident that Samsung will publish timely updates, but buying this phone would definitely require a back cover to hide those scratches and is thoroughly disappointing

It's not HW side where Apple is loosing - iPad4 still looks _much_ better, is thinner, offers amazing screen with great color gamut distribution, has stellar audio output, 64GB space, tailored made apps, zillion accessories etc...
It is software side which holds Apple back, it already shows it is technologically one generation behind (at least) of Linux/Android - and with 4.2 introducing User Accounts (SE Linux) it's another blow to quite simplistic 'application drawer' operating system - which iOS sadly is. And now even Win8 RT stepped in to show proper Tablet OS - sadly it lacks half-million applications available on Android already...

Looks like a very powerful tablet with some great specs, lets hope they dont depend on that to sell it, as we've all learnt that power isn't everything!
