Rkm, 18 Jul 2021While theoretically true, in reality some fail more than th... moreWell, they don't have identical chipsets, identical cooling, identical phone chassis construction, they don't use identical charging standards or speeds and they aren't used identically by users either. My XR's battery behaves pretty much identical it has when I bought it. But I babysit it only charging to 80% and never deep discharge it. Battery has been at 100% only twice in its entire life time. It still lasts me up to 2 days depending on use. Basically the same it has when it was new. And it'll soon be 3 years old. Most people just don't treat phones like this.

I don't know, phone being on charger at 100% through every entire night, charging it while gaming for long time, having full 100 down to almost shutdown discharge cycles and given how long people generally keep on using iPhones, it wasn't actually "short time". People don't babysit batteries like we do. They treat them like trash. And if you treat batteries like trash they'll be in pretty bad condition. iPhone 6 was released in 2014, the 6s in 2015. Batterygate was in late 2016, early 2017. You'd be amazed how people can trash batteries in just 2 years. Admittedly, the size of iPhone 6 cells wasn't helping all of this and was a minor contributing factor for sure, but mostly batteries get shot by stuff I mentioned above.

Using your own words, "When battery is so worn it can't sustain CPU at high drain situations, only way is to replace battery or cap CPU so it doesn't cause insane battery voltage drops that cause phones to just blank out."
Why did the battery wear out that much within a couple of years? The battery wore so much that they have to underclock from 1.2ghz to 600mhz. That dude said apple made super awesome batteries for MacBook which maybe true but isn't true for phones.
Also it is planned obsolescence. Apple has a massive number of users. Even if 0.001% went for a new iphone, it was a great number. That was shady of them, they got caught, they tried to pass it out as a feature (which many people like you believed), they failed, they were punished by several countries.
You defending apple over batterygate just shows that you're a fanboy. Even apple users/loyalists were pissed because of that.

Even Panasonic, the main battery suppiler for Tesla is recyling lithium batteries because of environmental and cost concerns. Real users of Xiaomi and Redmi powerbanks can give testimony to the good value and longevity of their powerbanks.

More expensive brands like tp link uses genuine LG out Samsung cells, I have one of those and it's still running good after 4 years.

And my other friend bought one for herself, both didn't last a year or even half a year if Im not mistaken. It drains the battery so quickly.
