Power banks have remain popular throughout the years despite the batteries inside phones growing ever bigger while chipset nanometers shrink.

I am reading this post on my phone while Charging it via my Redmi 20,000 mah power bank...!!! Funny Coincidence... :) but I must admit, this is a superb power bank and it saved my ass so many times...

Like 99% of people here on GSMArena throwing it around as some sort of "gotcha" low effort attempt and not even understanding what it was about. When battery is so worn it can't sustain CPU at high drain situations, only way is to replace battery or cap CPU so it doesn't cause insane battery voltage drops that cause phones to just blank out. Apple did the later because it costs user nothing and still allows them to have a functioning phone, just slightly slower. If battery is replaced, it goes back to full performance. "Batterygate" was about Apple not telling users they were doing this. And everyone took it as "Oh my god, Apple is forcing me to buy new battery as if all the shutdowns weren't indication battery is already shot beyond usable. So, tell me how is giving users ability to still use phones instead of having a randomly rebooting phone a bad thing? How? You people make no sense. You have to be special level of ignorant to call it planned obsolescence when it literally extends the usable lifetime of the device.

              If their Macbooks batteries are something to go off, those batteries probably are designed for long time use and longer charge cycles.
