More Huawei P50 Pro camera details revealed

The phone will have the same Leica-branded main snapper, 5x telephoto, 18mm equivalent ultra-wide.

Not into UWA anyway, but if I got to choose, its at 16mm.

    For me it's even better then my trashy S21 Ultra I have right now, I miss my old Mate 20X.

          Huawei p50 is rumored to be using an imx707 main sensor (same size as the imx700) , and imx 600 for the ultrawide and a 3x zoom

          Huawei p50pro is rumored to be using a 50mp imx800 1/1.18inch main sensor and 64mp OV64a 1/1.33inch ultrawide and a 5x periscope

          Rumours suggest the p50pro+ might have a 20x zoom lens but could be just hybrid zoom

              I really hope they made 14mm free form lens available in the regular Pro variant as well, not just Pro+. Huawei has lost their advantage in the UWA camera as other phone manufacturers have been mostly caught up to them in sensor size + lens design, and 18mm equivalent field of view for "ultra wide" simply won't cut it in 2021.

                  I hate the ultrawide. At 18mm it is not that wide but quality wise, it is the best ultrawide out there. But still, it is super narrow. Hope Huawei gives at least 14mm

                    So the "liquid/freeform" UW lens of Mate 40 Pro+ is probably again reserved for P50 Pro+
