I use a gaming phone for portable gaming device but has had some problem's with sellers but if portable gaming is what you're into buy a gaming phone from a brand like Lenovo legion or Nubia red magic or Asus any of manufacturer's is good
I have personal experience with devices from Nubia & Lenovo and there amazing also if you buy a gaming device you can also earn money from money apps like justplay & moneywell TikTok which is something I did
Can get paid money for your hobby if you use a android device like a gaming phone

imho, switch's couch coop/multiplayer (local/splitscreen/offline) capability is one of the strongest points. so many casual gamers, i.e. a father who want to share seat playing together with his children, a kid with his friend(s), a husband with his wife etc. including me of course.
I couldn't imagine how great will it be if steam deck has that capability as well, but they have their own target audience.
even though I never interested to play games online, I accept that nowadays online multiplayer gamers are dominating a lot more than offline/couch, but you guys who love online multiplayer also have to accept that gamers who love offline/couch multiplayer still exist like me and million of us..

This is an easy decision. If you want to play Nintendo games, get the switch. If not, then get the Valve. If a game is on both consoles, buy the version with the console you already have. Or just the valve version if you care so much about specs.

I would never trade my current Switch for the OLED, it's just a total waste of money. As long as they can't make their own games to stop having huge frame drops, BT to work with headphones, joycons not to drift after 3 months then maybe I would consider another Switch. They could have at least add 1 or 2GB more of ram but they invested a lot of money in a screen thinking they can fool people in buying them. I reserved the 256GB of the Steam Deck and I can't wait to arrive while I will continue to play on my old Switch until it dies.

Valve dose not have Nintendo's IPs. Valve is a better buy for someone not interested in nintendo and is only going to own one system. But a lot of people have a xbox or playstation plus a switch for nintendo IPs and I think that is going to be the case going forward.

This article is so biased towards Nintendo. Even if Nintendo released a pro switch, valve's steam deck would still be better probably.

Switch are for kids, they always recycle the same games tittle, & the same mechanics over decade.

Anonymous, 26 Jul 2021however the game sales will blow switch out of ocean. Why get this when you you could just stream your steam library over a phone/tablet and not worry about game compatibility? And a few hours of battery gaming? You forgot what happened to the more geeky and powerful Game Gear vs the black and white Gameboy.
Also, a reminder that Valve abandoned three Steam-labeled products before.

Malphric , 26 Jul 2021For reference: https://www.neogaf.com/threads/iit-all-start... moreDifferent audience but those who tasted the bitter Steam Link/ Steam machines medicine know better to just get a laptop and a Switch instead of this.
And pray how do you make the masses deal with Arch Linux? And so many games still not compatible with Linux lmao.

I own two switches and love playing them. I am 100% for the steam deck, and plan to get one once they are widely available. If I had to pick one, it would be the steam deck.

Many critics say that Nintendoomed because PSP is the better hardware and yet here we are.
I am seeing again the potshots aimed for Nintendo Switch vs Steam deck, but as always: Time will tell.

Most Switch players are casual game players who most possibly wouldn't waste their time on tech sites.
