My choice is Galaxy A52 5g. Cheaper but in some areas better than OnePlus Nord 2.

The hardware side oneplus was always good but the software was something that made oneplus as a flaship experience to be honest,i know people in this comment section will say that specs matter more but i simply disagree,nothing is better than a good software experience(even if samsung is not close to stock i have heard good reviews about one ui),i use miui 12.0 and miui 12.5 is just full of bugs(they might be fixed later like they fixed miui 12.0 was too buggy when update arrived honestly). if they are gonna sell oppo phones but just rebrand it than nobody should buy it imo (they have screwed older phones with oxygen os 11)

Wasn't three OS updates always the norm?
My OP3 launched with 6, got three upgrades to 9. OP 6 launched with 8 and will get 3 upgrades to 11. I understand we now get an extra year of security updates.

AFAIK it was more expensive for little changes if I recall correctly, but it wasn't as bad as the OP8, but honestly I don't remember that much.

GSMAREN... moreLol, triggered fanboy that cannot accept the reality. Look at how well the Oneplus 7T Pro and 8 Pro scored by GSMArena before accusing of bias towards Oneplus.
Guess what? Camera isn't the be all and end all of a phone especially in the competitive midrange segment. The Nord 2's main selling point is OIS and that's about it. It has the same display from last year that is not as good as the F3 GT, still plastic frame, no ingress protection and increased prices.
Don't talk about bugs if you don't want to be embarassed. The Oneplus 7T series and 1st gen Nord are so full of bugs like self restart, self factory reset and unstable wifi that most still ignored by Oneplus. Even the Nord 2 got update to fix bugs just days after launch. Some reviewers reported camera app crashes and poor autofocus on the Nord 2. Xiaomi do have bugs too, but please don't act like OxygenOS is free of bugs.
