I still find it funny fandroids are using this to slam the future of apple. Stuff like this happens all the time in the technology industry. Cause someone's ideas is only limited to himself. The reason why he is resigning is because apple told him to apologize for the map problem, but he refused too. Apple cares for his customer, and they are not afraid to apologize for their mistakes.

Now maybe Galaxy Nexus 10 with 3G/LTE with altogether demolish ipad and I have the reason to switch to Android camp.

even if Scott Forstall leaves apple i think there are so many experienced people in this world but any ways we wish him the best and i think we will find a better person for VP od Ios.. thank you Scott Forstall

I'm fandroid I own galaxy note 2 and Sony xperia s love them both phones. But to be honest after I used Iphone 5 for couple of days I can say Apple still the best.
Ps. Dev deam still a round no worries.

i just got back was useing ios6 Maps, to go get milk from down the street , this ios map send me to the Bahamas for my milk and i live in Miami , and a gallon of milk was $5.00 .......ROTTON APPLEEEE

Scott is actually leaving on his own will guys. He's been with the company for 15 years. Stuff like this happens in big name companies all the time. This is nowhere near the end of apple, as some of you fandroids are spewing. Iphone5 just set a record recently with their phone release. Ipad mini's are backordered global wise. Going down? Dream on fandroids.

I just wish that apple would spend more time and try to focus with the "SpotLight"(search thingy in ios) they can add there a live widgets or anything usefull. Cos like me i dont use that feature! Go apple u need that wasted space to to work!

Whoa! That is totally wrong Apple. If it would'nt have been for Scott many more Apple lover's would have felt a heartbreak with iOS doing nothing much than what it did before iOS 5
