He should have probably looked at Apple maps in some place outside of California (or worse yet, outside USA). He wouldn't be making the "overblown" remarks then.

All are telling his mistake was not to sign on the apology, but his real mistake was, He never updated the interface of iphone for a very very long time. It looks very old now, even nokia low end asha phones interface at times looks better than iphone's....
