23 July 2021
The change is hidden within code behind the scenes and is most apparent in the battery settings.

the only reason I don't buy any Oppo phones is solely because of ColorOS. IT.IS.HORRIBLE. I hate it so much and avoid it like the plague. hearing this news makes my heart drop and I'm not even a OnePlus fan

didn't they promis like a month ago that they'll use their ui on the global versions ? everyone expected them to break their promise in a couple of years, but this was way sooner than anyone could've guessed.

Oxygen OS won't be that different now. But later they will show the true colors of the Color OS and force bloatware down our throat. This is not a move I am happy with.

                  Hahahaha it's all clear now!
OnePlus was just a huge marketing stunt by BKK Electronics to promote Oppo, it was never meant to be independent.
