this might be a bit off topic but realme UI / UI 2 is just about identical to Color OS 7 / OS 11.
I have realme 8 pro and oppo reno 5, the difference is barely noticeable

Ngl. ColorOS was my favorite Android skin out of the ones I've used. If I could install it on my current S21 Ultra, I definitely would. One UI is not bad by any means but I prefer the look of ColorOS.

Gradually changing Oxygen OS into Color OS, bit by bit so people don't realise. Within 2 years Oxygen will be gone.

Problem isn’t the looks..but the optimisation.. forget color OS.. even the oxygen os is unoptimised due tot heir hugely growing numbers

Of course the Ui is not really different from Oxygen Os ... This is the same case for Realme... Their Ui is close to stock android.. but underneath those interface, there is ColorOs ...
Personally I dont mind .. but it might be a problem for certain people..

It was expected. Now they new "fake" Oxygen OS already have the latest internal tracking features courtesy of ColorOS and Oppo. Now that they share the internal code, the next step is clear. Add even more customization... and options/features/apps (bloatware) that old Oxygen OS fans "should" apreciate, lol.

It's laughable how people complains about Color OS but most of the comments are from people that had a bad experience YEARS ago, just a few comments are from conscious people that recently have used Color OS 11 and have minimum or none complains, again this is just software, this can be improved. I looked it up and realized that is also used on Realme phones, where is the people complaining about Realme software?

yes, I know, this is Android and you can customize this to your hearts' liking but some Oppo phones don't even let you change the launcher.
this is from an old Oppo phone but I discovered that I cannot find a way to transfer some files to the SD card for some reason. it worked well on my LG G6.
Lastly, the amount of bloatware is staggering. they even have their own app store. at least Samsung lets you uninstall or disable its bloat but ColorOS does not. I can't stand ColorOS

I actually don't mind Colour OS, my first experience away from the likes of Samsung one UI, Pixel Launcher, Moto MyUX or whatever it is called.
Okay I didn't try it on an high end device but it still felt quite nice, I used it on an A74 5G to try out the 90hz.
Only thing I don't like about my Oppo is the weird virtual ram thing, which I turned off , because I didn't need that option

I am actually zero percent surprised this happend BUT on the OnePlus website they are advertising OxygenOS with phrases like "near stock Android" like nothing changed and I think that is fooling customers because this info (merger with ColorOS) is only given to reviewers but not average customers who don't watch/read tech news

From what I've seen in Nord 2 reviews, this looks more like my Realme Q3 Pro. I was considering buying a Nord 2 til I saw that. I'm sure there's some good things about it, but I'll just wait for the Pixel 5a.
