So, as you can see, oppo maybe is trying to satisfy everyone.

The ideal outcome would be the crispness of oxygen os with the camera, video and audio processing of oppo / color os.
But what we are probably gonna get is the crispness of color os and camera, video and audio processing of oxygen os.

I had "burnt" my INR 60,000 (in 2015, which, if adjusted for inflation, costs more than a grand USDs) for a MediaTek. That's didn't even last me 2 years. And I don't care how better it gets. But I won't ever buy a MediaTek powered device at any cost, even if I have to pay more for an inferior Qualcomm.
And I am pretty sure those who have invested in ColorOS years ago, will be reluctant to use it again.

It might not look different but deep down it will be a nightmare. COLOROS is a hog, ad filled tracking UI. Oneplus phones already started pinging Oppo servers. Unnecessary permissions, regular logging of phone events and tracking.

It's like throwing away the good stuff which was working fine since past few years. They should improve the quality and service of Oxygen OS. It's a much better UI than any other in the market and also it is near to stock android. They just need to work on few bugs and need to implement new features and Oxygen OS will be as good as new.

this might be a bit off topic but realme UI / UI 2 is just about identical to Color OS 7 / OS 11.
I have realme 8 pro and oppo reno 5, the difference is barely noticeable

yeag waiting for merge hwre for my op8t since 5g is not working and you needed to modify the policyman thru qpst for you to use 5g and pdc for volte . hope coloros will all fix the issue been tryi g to contact oneus about this but sh*t reply they didnt even care, still oneplus is on trash tier and i regret buying this should have gone apple or samsung
