Note 20 Ultra still at 1000USD or so. This will be lot cheaper according to me. If you are recommending Note 20 Ultra, then why not S20 FE 5G. It's still great phone according to me. I just want little bit better camera which this S21 FE will be having.

Lol they want to release at the end of the year ,when 2021 components will be much cheaper
They also want people to buy the s21 serie for people who don't know about the release of the Fe edition or can't wait for it ,so that they have more and more money from selling the Scamsung s21 Fe with plastic back and exynos trash for 700Euro while you can get Poco f3 for 300 euro with a better soc (SD) and better build quality and stereo speakers and Google camera support bcuz of SD and the best flat 120hz smoked
Samsung wants now to milk people buying the more expensive s21 serie and then release the cheaper FE edition later

870 is perfectly fine. Or maybe they're waiting for 888+?. That would explain the delay. Hope they'll use better glass for the screen (at least GG6), better fingerprint reader and a headphone jack. If the price will be right that would be a good flagship killer.

Hang on, how come the cheaper FE has a bigger screen than the more expensive vanilla S21 which also has an FHD+ screen? Is it because the FE won't have the Adaptive screen refresh rate system like in the vanilla S21?

[deleted post]I have used the phones with Exynos as well as Snapdragon. And snapdragon has no comparison at all except snapdragon 888/810. Snapdragon 855/865/870 are the best ever products from Qualcomm. I am happy that Qualcomm released snapdragon 870 this year. It's great on four smartphones I have used this year. If snapdragon 888 is having shortage, Samsung can use snapdragon 870 but not Exynos 2100.

Bigmeme, 24 Jul 2021870 is better than overheating exynos 2100Exynos is trash overall. But let's hope for the best for next year and their collaboration with AMD. Hopefully Samsung will reach heights with this collaboration.

Snapdragon 888 has issues and Samsung has throttled that in S21 Ultra clearly. Snapdragon 870 is powerful enough to cater the demands of many people. Let's hope for snapdragon 895(888+ as well) to get rid of issues in snapdragon 888.

[deleted post]I am not controlling. I just said for Samsung to increase sales which are already low due to high prices on S series. This is completely toned down version so this is good price for company as well as consumers. Anything in line with S series will bring curtains on sales. One Plus 8T is selling for less than 500USD for 256 version. It makes no sense for this to go above 600USD. ZTE Axon 30 Ultra is already providing great specs for the price. Samsung cannot go there and snatch sales from those. This is right spot for this phone. If not snapdragon 888(due to supply chain issues), snapdragon 870 is way to go. No point in going to snapdragon 865 or Exynos 2100. Next year they are launching Exynos with the help of AMD. So don't know how people will take it. So this is the right time to hit the market. Google Pixel duo looks promising at whatever prices they launch. Samsung has already created problems for them by not launching Note 21.
