There won't be a OnePlus 9T or OnePlus 9T Pro, rumor has it

That would break a years-long tradition for the company.

If software is working fine even nord is fine. OG Nord with Pixel Experience rom works way better than stock ROM of One Plus 7T/8T(Camera is still subpar). So no point in getting such costly device. It just now upto One Plus to release great value for money devices with snapdragon chipsets under 450USD-550USD so that people can flash rom and enjoy the device to the fullest. Maybe they have use best hardware possible at that price and leave everything on software side to developers. Never leave this price bracket and you are fine with sales and you will remain in market. One Plus 9 Pro with 1000 USD won't make you great at all.

So why to spend so much of money on One Plus 7T? Competition has gone ahead and deliver great cameras at lower price. Second thing is software support or Oxygen OS which was exclusive to One Plus devices. That's not the case anymore. One Plus 5T was last best device with best Oxygen OS version. Even till Oxygen OS 10.3.4 was best version One Plus 7T had. After that, almost every One Plus device except One plus 9 Pro has gone downwards in terms of software updates or there are lots of bugs. Great for flashing roms but device price is also so high, that it makes no sense. Redmi Note series runs great with ported Oxygen OS than One Plus software. So no point in spending so much if we are not getting good software support. One Plus is worth only for 450USD-650USD.

Hopefully they focus on releasing good software support for current devices as well as releasing next device One Plus 10 Pro with bug free software.

there won't be oneplus anymore , just say it 😐

The T version is usually the best phone released by OnePlus for the year. Quite disappointed there won't be a T phone this year.

Now that's an environment friendly move from one plus 😜

Hopefully this is oneplus getting its house in order. With the 3 years of os upgrades it makes sense to produce fewer phones. Hopefully when i upgrade oneplus 8 i wont get the OP10 only for a t model to knock the value down.
Maybe the nords are killing their own flagships?

Thank goodness, enough with the useless T models.

i still remember good old OnePlus invitation to buy system :-DDDDDDDDDD stupid brand, changed too much.

Makes sense. Any changes anyway would likely be very minor

Many things are not used because of costs, that increase prices too much.
Sales would never be enough to recover, maybe only Apple would get money back.

Also design is huge issue to implement some stuff.
Nobody today would buy 27mm thick phone like 12 years ago.

Oxygen OS is one of the best Android skins but apart from that its just another overpriced phone out there. Phones have become boring. New processor, updated camera and the usual ram & storage increments is all seen in flagship phones each year

No site has yet accepted the reality more and more OP9 customers have seen first hands: the OP9 series needs to be recalled and refunded. It runs WAAAAY too hot.

Got to their forums. What do they advise? Turn this off, turn that off, don't do this, don't do that. Everything I could do with my OP6T. Not with this hot mess. And I'm neither a gamer or a videographer.

So then an update came out to slow down all apps on the phone. Cutting off the Snap 888 at the knees. Sites like this covered the story but neglected to connect the dots --

-- this garbage piece of phone overheats WAY too easily. Don't trust me. Go to Amazon and read reviews. Every 5th talks about this.

I tried to make T-Mobile take mine back. When that failed I sold it on eBay, with genuine apologies to the suckers who bought them.

Obviously they have not done well in sales, and then they started working again with oppo and on top of that they wanted to deceive people by disguising the color oS with oxygen, they have nothing left to do but abort the T series

Not surprising, since their prices have been rising alot from the last few years. At the same time other brands outing more phones in the mid-range, so flagship stuff doesn't add a lot of features for all that extra money
