The second-generation Nord is getting a much warmer reception than the original or the CE redesign.

Pumpino, 01 Aug 2021I'm not sure why sites always complain about phones no... moreThe US isn't the center of the universe but it is the 3rd most populous country in the world so the market is huge here (despite having bad smartphone options due to the lack of LTE/5G bands of every phone not named Pixel, iPhone, OnePlus, or Samsung).

I'm surprised to see results are that good.
      And very happy they are!

Considering it's a very controversial device due to :
      - on one side, all the Mediatek's haters that praise for Qualcomm's Monopoly.
      - on the second, all people who heavilly critisize Oneplus and say "Never Settle" is the past...this year, Nord 2 is what is the more close to "Never Settle", it's the courage to change things and bring choice in western countries (First Dimensity 1200 in Europe when we have never seen a single D1000+ here, OIS on sub 400€ device...). Nord 2 fits to original Oneplus One's spirit.
      - on the third, lacks of some reviewers in presenting fairly the device...forget to speak about OIS and to present samples of stability on videos. The same with low light pictures.

That's why gsmarena is, in my opinion, is the best website. Testers here don't fall in traps and do the job in a fair and complete way.

Nord 2 is a much better phone than Nord 1. So no wonder it's getting a much better reception from consumers.

IMO, Oneplus is the best brand out of the BBK bunch. Good bundle of hardware & software along with reasonable prices (compared to competition).

Anonymous, 01 Aug 2021whats the nr.1 brand in australia, iphones ? strange... see... moreFunny. We can buy Samsung, Oppo, Realme, Motorola, Asus, Nokia, Vivo, Nubia, TCL and Pixels at stores such as JB Hi-Fi. However, the likes of Realme and Vivo aren't especially cheap, probably because of the local warranty, etc, so it's preferable to order from overseas.

Pumpino, 01 Aug 2021I'm not sure why sites always complain about phones no... morefunny enough , there's a local seller in Malaysia that import all of the china phone in , and has official china warranty , but had to pay 50 bucks to send back to claim it

but man the price is like 100-200 usd cheaper , i got my k40 pro 8/128 for only 420 usd + to global rom

I'm not sure why sites always complain about phones not coming to the US. I'm in Australia and had to import every Xiaomi and OnePlus phone I've bought. Jump on AliExpress or Banggood. Besides, the US isn't the centre of the universe. ;)
