It's unfortunate that they can only source Snapdragon.

Because I see a lot of comments complaining about the removal of the charger. If you go tou their global site huawei.com in "the box" category says the p50 pro will include the charger. No the p50 though.

Don't really like the trend of removing features in order to sell more accessories. It will more than likely happen with all the large smartphone companies now though

I am not a Huawei fan due to their back door scandal, but I will admit the details and specs of this series looks better than any phone I have seen. I hope to see reviews soon.

how many flagship disappointments this year? xperia 1 iii, moto edge 20, huawei p50, oneplus 9 and what else? only xiaomi samsung and apple are strong.

No charger in the box is not good. The phone will still probably sell a lot better than other Chinese flagships like the mi11 ultra or Oneplus 9pro in China due to Huawei's brand image but not supplying the charger will definitely annoy quite a few customers. Should really be trying to make up for not being able to provide 5g by providing incentives rather than taking stuff away

why pay more for no gms,no charger & 5g

Anonymous, 30 Jul 2021Top of DXOMark. Yes, the cameras are good.Especially the zooming part. Dont underestimate the x3.5 optical labelling. Continuously high quality up to x10. Its even better than vanilla version at x5 zoom.

There's a 'collector's edition' which came with the charger & ceramic phone body. 🤦

I hope the global version will came with charger out of the box. 66w SuperCharger is not that cheap. Unless there are discounts or interesting price.

I understand Huawei's hard position. But seriously? For an £1000 phone when launched in Europe.

                                    There's no
                                    1. Chargers
                                    2. 5G
                                    3. GMS

I think Huawei should price it globally at £799 max for the Pro version. Vanilla model should be £669

in the video review Bruce Lee, VP and Product Manager at Huawei, explained what new technology the P50 lineup is bringing, following the success of the predecessors., lol.

I think that Bruce Lee is still alive

Mi 11 Ultra, S2 Ultra, and Vivo X60 Pro Plus finally are gonna get bested in the camera department. Huawei P50 Pro may have
                                        1. better, wider selfies.
                                        2. Better lowlight thanks to monochrome sensor and large main sensor
                                        3. Better zoom flexibility thanks to high resolution 64 MP tele that can zoom from 3.9X to 11.7X with minimal quality loss (S21 allows users to zoom from 1X to 3X lossless with their 64 MP, so Huawei may allow from 3.9X to 10X losslessly too)
                                        4. Maybe an better ultrawide cam? I don't knoww about the sensor yet. But ultrawide king now is still Vivo X60 Pro Plus thanks to the gimbal that allows for night vision ultrawide cam.
                                        5. Also, Huawei's image processing is better than Xiaomi's and Samsung's oil paintings look. But still behind Apple and Google
                                        6. In video, it does not have 8K. And i will take Iphone and Vivo over Huawei, Xiaomi, and Samsung's video
