Not good. 4.1 Jellybean should have been at least at 10% before 4.2 would be released.

      You need to keep pushing!
Remember HTC, it was first on the Android boat and made some huge success with the Android platform. But look at them now, Scamsung ran them over in just few months!

I saw people that after 6 months of purchasing their smartphone did not know what an app store/play store is.
        Really sad! :(

Android is winning marketshare, but a HUGE proportion are merely cheap low end Android devices. Only Samsung is making profits in the Android game, which leads me to believe that the other OEM's will find WP8 more enticing, as they will want to make a first strike there.

There will be a major shift in OEM's marketing WP8 in 2013 if I am correct, unless Android does some real systemic upheaval. As it is, I doubt that this will happen.

That's sad. Only 2.7% of the Android users are on the latest Android version. The rest are running out of date software and out of date security software.

It is IMPOSSIBLE TO BELIEVE that SamSung and Goggle have taken more than 3 months since the launch of the Galaxy Note 10.1 and the Jelly bean is still in their wallets, but without signs to release the upgrade yet.

Thats tha reason why people prefer to buy Apple devices, because they take real care of the clients and do not delay the updates as the Jelly Bean for Galaxy note 10.1 has made.

I willnever buy a Samsung or an Andorid device, because it gets old fashion very fast, without support!!!

Google is slowing down and Microsoft hasn't even started their marketing offensive. This will be awesome! I wonder how long until all those Android fanatics switch to Windows... Exciting Times!!

The only guilty is GOOGLE here. Because they let crappy companies like Samsung or HTC to BREAK vanilla Android and make their own mods to UI and system core.

Result? You have unstable device with no Google support. And you are blocked, you can't get original vanilla Android to your crappy device. You must wait for YourCrappyCompany to out new Android update which fixes 10 things and break another 20. Samsung is great example of unfortunate developers who does not know how to develop stable software.

That's why the only Android phone worth buying is the one with Nexus name in title and clean Vanilla Android Inside directly from Google.

Be smart :) Skip the crap!

lol... like ginger would dissepear soon...
Average people using smartphone type usually keep it for 2-3 years.
The phone freaks have already up to better phone or up to ics/jb.
In 2 years, ginger will still be at 25-35%.
Dont forget also the second hand market is pretty high in 3rd world countries. They'll probably use ginger base phone till 2016+.
Applications market is still perfect for ginger base os anyway, you can find anything for anyone.

What do they expect? Am I the only one not surprised that Gingerbread is far more common, since most of today's phones either won't run ICS, or STILL haven't had it launched??

Anonymous, 02 Nov 2012Android 4.2 is Jellybean. It's only a minor revision.4.2 minor. It's still fixing the lag
Thats why it's still called jelly bean.

                                  4.3 is another attempt
All really delays as google wait for more CPU power.

2.7% of android users are almost lag fee.
100% of WP7 users are from day one.

What OS is better written i wonder
