Gsmarena.com, what's this new trend, the photo focuses on the phone only and the background is blurred out, why?
Back then when people took photos it showed everything without blurred, just like what your eyes see .

heh multitascing was better than now.. when you dont know if app is running in background or not ... ... these days you listening to music app in background and OS just kills it without asking (as it needs to update something or whatever) on pocket pc you could run 32 aps ion 2004
no appstore dictated what messages application gets... app just opened internet port and hance you could comunicate/chat directly with other phone without intermediate servers ... that device shows how we lost control and gave it to monopoly OS /mobile producer ...

It was a good device for its time.. way ahead of everything.. its junk these days.. same thing will happen to phones like s21 ultra in 20 years.

I had this and the P900 & 990. The 910 was amazing and rock solid. For its time it was way ahead of everything else. Pocket pc was just to clumsy & slow at that time

I have one back in the day, and it was a blast!!!! I love it. I took the physical keyboard away and only use the stylus. I learned how to write fast with the stylus, you have to write a big letter for caps, small letter for small caps (in certain part of the screen) and the numbers where in the lower part of the screen. It was a great phone

Still have this big boy back home, my father got it at the time because his company got a deal with Ericsson.

It was fantastic. :D A big potato ! Stupid system to clap on the frame and broke the plastic. :D..... Gorgeous PHOTOS :D.... LOL. I have this one and the another one after. It was cool !!! IF PLASTIC IS FANTASTIC ? :D

Say what you want, I'll never forget the days I first saw P800, P900 and P910. SE were the real inventors of the old days, Nokia and Samsung were just copycats.

Oh how much i wanted this device, back then was not even released in my Country (it never was), you could find some used devices here and there (stollen most probably) but even so, i was like 17 and could not afford one. At the end i managed to trade a new noki feature phone for the nokia 3650. That one was for me the best thing ever and that point i knew smartphones are the next big thing. In comparison to feature phones, there was no comparison. I had apps, bluetooth, infrared, mmc storage, multitasking, file explores of any kind, hack, i could play snake via buletoooth with another person, if that person of course had a similar device, i could change chanels on almost every tv capable of remote control, it was the king of phones. But this gem here will always remain that thing that i could never have. At least i could play a bit on it.

As for dream on... well minding the fact that devices this days are mostly assmblied in china, some are just made there, there is no comparison to what lets say Nokia has payed for its european factories. As nokia with those money over 3000 euros per employee in one factory, would now pay for 6 factories in china'. Yet the high end devices were under 500€. So yeah, on one side the guy is right. Minding the fact that everything has gone down the hill, no innovation, no research quite nothing since the last innovative nokia (the 1020), he might actually sound right. Of course now everything is more expensive then before

And now they will go all on the foldable devices, like when curved display bringed a lot of broken displays.

Thanks to this article, I remembered that UIQ meant User Interface Quartz. I completely forgot or didn't know even. I had the M600i BTW, didn't need the keyboard then switched to a W950i ! Nice devices for the times.
