Again please read the bit where I point out this is a mobile phone and never ever claims to show perfect colours.I walked through Comets (a chain store in the UK that sells consumer electronics) a couple of weeks ago looking for a new TV set,and even amongst the higher quality brand makes they all showed a slightly different color bias to the image on the screen,I doubt whether any of them actually shows pure white as pure white.
And yet again I repeat this topic is about the amazing sales figures for this device,can't you lot just accept that what seems to cause you sleepless nights is meaningless to those owners who actually have a life?

Has nothing to do with the display though. Display is blueish. Confirmed be me and countless S3 reviews, and other S3 owners dont deny it as well. It was the first thing my bro said when he bought his S3, the white looks blue he said. Why dont you just open the webbrowser, put your phone next to another one and see that S3 is blueish where it should be white.
When tilted, its not the anti glaring, this is a well known phenomena for AMOLED that no1 is disputing.

Note 2 is the way to go for a good amoled display, once you are reduce the saturation its ok. With saturation at default it was no less than 100% ridiculous. I love my Note 2 but i have full respect for people who dont like those colors, however i like them to try one and set the saturation to MOVIE, then they will see it doesnt look so crazy after all.

I tried an experiment with my GS3 today while outside in the sun,I switched the camera on and pointed it at a lightish grey piece of concrete (grey is better than white for picking up colour casts).I could JUST about make out a VERY VERY slight green tint to the concrete,which was only visible when you could compare it to the original,when viewing the photo later I couldn't (and other people couldn't) say that the grey area wasn't as perfectly grey as it should be.Maybe just maybe the merest hint of green,but absolutely definitely not blue.Also if you look off axis at the screen of course you're going to see the green tint of the anti-glare coating,but why would anyone have to view a hand held device off axis when you can ALWAYS move your hand so it's on axis to your eyes?
What we need to remember here is that this is just a mobile phone we're talking about that has never pretended to be a high quality imaging device.Samsung have never claimed it to have the worlds best display and have never claimed it to have 100% perfect colour rendition.Me and the 29,999,999 other people who have bought this device are happy with it and don't see an alleged and almost indistiguishable colour tint as a problem that's worth worrying about as apart from that it's a fantastic piece of modern technology.
