hmm, 09 Aug 2021There are more like you who use a phone for practical needs... moreI know someone who still uses a Nokia 8800 Sirocco special edition, so I get what you mean.
However that guy is getting a smartphone soon, too many stuff, even banks, insurance and government require apps in my country now days, so you are forced to have a smartphone...

I know few very rich people who still use button phones from over decade ago and drive a normal people middle class car that is also 10-15 years old. For them these things are just tools for life and they dont need to show off that they actually have money. Like the people who dont have money but need to have all brand clothing and phones and so on even if they cant have any money left for food after payday just so they look rich for others and that they live a good life or something. And then talk down to others who prefer to have food on the table over all fancy brands and have serious depths to pay of every month

Anonymous, 08 Aug 2021I'm sure since you and your friends hate MIUI, Xiaomi ... moreI hate MIUI but I also don't buy Xiaomi phones (enough other android brands to pick, however it is a fact none of them is THAT cheap)
As for the people I know, their wallets speak louder, but most of them get a new phone each year while I get mine each 2.5 to 3 years.

HutHutHut, 09 Aug 2021Its not available in Poland... Because it was always intend... moreI am from Poland. I imported the MI 11 Pro for around 650 Euros.
I opted for EU ROM, took a little longer than usual, as they need to wait a few days for bootloader unlock. Then they install EU ROM for you before shipping.
I avoided the MI 11 Ultra as it was around 250 Euros expensive on that site.
I get everything I needed from an Android flagship without shelling out over 1000 Euros.

Anonymous, 09 Aug 2021He can't. He uses an iphon 😁at the end of the day all rich people no matter sponsored celebs like BTS, the president, or even phone company CEOs themselves, use iphones
lol when will Android companies learn that they will never ever compete for value and that you can find their "flagships" for just half the price half a year later and only 20% of the full price 1 to 2 years later

Anonymous, 08 Aug 2021Fix MIUI Make it ligther or make a phone without it. ... moreBeen using miui since my first mi 3 phone and i'm quite pleased with it, there's no perfect ui and it's overall performance is on par with others. But I'm only using the Chinese rom so i can't comment on the international version. My current mi 8 running miui 12.5 is still going strong and i honestly don't feel the need to upgrade yet which is frustrating considering I've been using it for over 3 years

How big is the market in Poland for such a premium device...?! At best 500 - 600 units would be sold... And considering the Mi 11 Ultra retails for around €1250 in Europe... Not cheap by any means...
