I just can't wait for the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro to release so I can get the Pixel 5 dirt cheap.
Owning so many different phones over the years, I really don't need the best of the best. The Pixel 5 has a mid-range SoC but it's more than good enough for my needs. The Pixel 5 size is manageable and it's basically as powerful as my Pixel 3 but with a way better battery life and 5G.

Plus for over 5 months, it was rumor that we will get the performance between a Snapdragon 865 & 870...Finally we're around Snapdragon 888 and People are still complaining... So I don't get it... The Tensor should be the most powerful Android SoC when its release because the SD888 plus really got it's upgrade on the AI/ML but Google are visibly ...

They do not do this as it'll cost them more than buying and then selling Qualcomm processors. This here is technically an Exynos processor. It's just using the Google patent portfolio to give Qualcomm the big middle finger.
I wouldn't be very surprised if future US Samsung phones will start "licensing" Google processors instead of Qualcomm dittos.

Okay Exynos is good but is it as par as snapdragon 888? No
So why we should pay the exact amount of money of the phone with weaker processor? and people in USA, Canada, China, and even south Korea it self (Samsung sells both versions there) get the better processor

We've known that Tensor was being co-designed by Samsung for over a year. It was reported in April 2020. So this news today isn't that it's a Samsung cast off, it's confirmation of what was reported s year and a half ago (with the added bonus of now knowing it may be more powerful than 2100)

So, 07 Aug 2021So this is better than SD 888 and M1?M1 is quite a lot more powerful than any smartphone chip, and it’s physically bigger. Qualcomm makes dedicated chips to compete with it like 8cx and 7cx.

Google “Tensor” aka scamsung overheating rebranded Cookware Exynos will surely be the last in terms of perfomance.
Exynos is so bad that even in their own country Korea it decided to use Snapdragon SD888 chip.

Basically you all know if snapdragon back on TSMS Samsung can never be near to Qualcomm same as always

GSMARENA's test already showed that among flagships.. Exynos 2100 based S21 ultra did the one of the best. Most chinese flagships didn't even cross the 100h mark.

Exynos 2100 has Geekbench score of ~3500 where SD has ~3300.

Well that kills any interest in it for me, I suspected this was what was going on.
Exynos has been garbage for several generations yet Samsung have managed to convince Google to buy their unwanted design.
Hard pass.
