Anonymous, 10 Aug 2021I dont know but i have not seen any Android have m1 in them... moreSaying that the 888 is faster than the m1 is pure bullshit. They are both on the same node and one uses twice the power. Unless apple fucked up the m1 so bad, it's impossible that it's slower than the 888. But if Qualcomm wanted, they very well could have made a similarly performing SoC in the same power budget but the fact is that they just decided not to. Many people think that benchmarks are not reflective of the real world, but that's not true (microbenches are an exception eg. Fibonacci). Geekbench does things like AES, Guassian Blur, Zlib(not sure about this one tho) which are used everywhere. Like literally everywhere. AES is used so much that most modern processors have dedicated silicon for it.

Now that the Linux kernel has official support for the m1, one could just compile android for the m1 laptop and run whatever benchmark they want and compare it to android devices (Maybe not graphics tho).

Anonymous, 10 Aug 2021I dont know but i have not seen any Android have m1 in them... moreWe all know how well SD arm is working on windows 10...so, no, SD 888 is not for anything...android is a mobile platform...while SDx was on windows 10 was working like a old SoC from 10 years ago
M1 is working on ipads, a mobile limited OS, but also on macOS that is a desktop/windows10 competitor and on both platform performs outstanding..
So we can compare the M1 with SD888+ since both work on mobile OS

Looks good. I like the under-display camera. Just hope that it doesn't start to explode up like the recent Nord 2 units have, in India. Reportedly just two so far, but the figures might go up

Magnificent, 10 Aug 2021SD 888 plus is better than m1I dont know but i have not seen any Android have m1 in them or any IOS that have snapdragon in them to compare which one is better.

M1 is optimized for Apple operation system and there limited hardware. While 888+ is made to run all types of hardwares and all types of android skins.

How do you compare which is better if you cant have equal ground to compare it.

Take it for example how comparing graphics cards on desktop PC. You have single hardware and you just change the graphic card to run same tasks to compare which is better.

You cant have 2 devices that have same hardware and just change the chip of m1 to 888+ that both run either on ios or android to judge which one of them is performing better.

NO-the max3 will remain the king in Xiaomi phone displays
