Switch to Google for a service that many others offer with better quality and then be abandoned 3 years later when they don't care anymore, like with most non-core services.

Most of the time, the point of using a VPN is to mask users location to the one (s)he choose. While limited, even free VPN would let us choose. Can't choose a location is a major drawback. Even if we can choose, that price is still too high.
