        Yup, this phone is a beast and powering something amazing, I'm wondering how it will perform, and as for the design, I don't mind it looking like their former parent company Mate 40 Series phone design, as these phones were probably already designed and developed together between these two former companion firms before the split. Wondering if Honor could go back to my country again though.

                  I will dispute the gorgeous design part. Is it only me it looks damn ugly ?

It is hard to get though as obviously most Chinese consumers will want the Kirin rather than the snapdragon one and there are limited flash sales every day. The snapdragon one will be available later. There doesn't seem to be any definitive info on whether it's the imx766 or ov50a but i think more people feel it's the imx 766. There are some reports saying that Sony can't manufacture custom sensors for them anymore but perhaps can supply generic ones. No idea if it's true or not though. Like you said they may have stocked up in advance or by using the OV50a or even mixed sensors

                                    Looks like some of the IMX sensor Huawei manage to get before the sanction. The Blue color variant of P50 Pro are the only one with Kirin 9000, exclusive only to China. Might be the IMX only used in that variant? The rest of the color variant & other country will get are with SD888, and might be Omnivision sensor in it.

                                      Imx766 is 1 micron pixel pitch.
                                      But omnivision has a counterpart.
                                      But I saw another screenshot that says it is imx766.

                                      I'll try to find later. Sometimes (dont know why) weibo asks login and does not let you use search tool.

                                        That price will kill this device.
