Those ugly blue icons remind me of Motorola ones, except the Motorola ones look better than they do...
I hope they can be changed back to the icons we saw in the P1i.

if the device is quit fast and relible who cares for the cpu speed they sure know what r they doing better than us i own the W960i and before that N95 honestly i prefer the W960i when it comes to browsing and lisiting to music,the way it looks every thing exept the cam and it has a 208Mhz cpu it works pretty fine the screen is 265K but it looks better than N95 so dont get carried

I work in a callcenter in Ghana/Africa and I must say gsmarena is a great site for for mobile phone info....and its been very entertaining readin comments on the site ...I think sony ericsson is the best phone ever..I am an SE fan ..I have a K800 and everything on it works perfectly and that is the hallmark of SE..whatever feature they advertise is exactly what you get unlike other very popular brands I dont want to mention ....the P5 is very cool based on what I've seen so far ...I just hope sony ericsson is listening to the comments in order to bring out a good final product..

The design is pretty nice for an SE imo. The fact that that it runs on a 208mhz processor is a huge dealbreaker for me, though.

This prototype is really ugly. I don't think SE go further in this shape for the P series... The QWERTY keyboard I can see here is unusbale in this slide prototype.

Crap design...looks more like a big version of LG chocklet and come on SE you could have done better with the CPU speed. 208mhz? Imate pocket pc released in 2004 had 400mhz processor...

It's an ugly brick,with awful icons that don't suit the flagman of SE and doesn't look classy!it's a cheap version of the ultimate smartphones of NOKIA!hello,who makes nowadays CPUs on 208 Mhz!nokia have released 400...

I wonder why people go for blackberry n useless nokias when SE has all in one device like these. Latest blackberry can com wid is a 2 mp cam n nokia n95 is ugly brick so slow cant use any functuanality widout waitin.such a jok. SE is da BEST!!!!

They could've made the icons attractive. Seriously, the more the newer releases, the more SE's interface seems to be getting uglier.

only thing SE needs to take care of is the build quality..which was very poor for the P1i compared to its cost..else everything perfect.. ;)
