That is a CRAP Idea to not bundle the most BASIC item of the Mobile phone.
Why are they selling mobiles too? Should close their business and go home. Its all a money saving tactic... How are they saving the environment by not bundling the charger? The phone will come in a box along with other accessories and manuals. Are they not causing any damage to the environment?

Pretty soon, for your $500 you'll get a box with the phone parts in it, some glue and a little sticker with a link to where you can go to get instructions to put the damn thing together yourself.

Said Chinese phones will still charge using standard USB-C cable and whatever USB charger you have at hand, just not at advertised speeds. Using their proprietary negotiation tech to charge does and I just pointed out that fact by itself forces them to include the chargers. Otherwise people would just charge on their whatever 5W or 15W chargers they have laying around.

And this is why they are better in this case. Almost by stupid coincidence lol. We just know eventually no one will provide charger in the box. It's just the new reality we have to prepare for whether we like it or not. It sucks, but we really can't do anything about it. Even the glorified "vote with your wallet" only goes so far. It's just delaying the inevitable in this case.

This is why Chinese companies have overshadowed Samsung, Google and Apple in the smartphone market.
Not only do they provide charger in box, they also provide ultra fast charging unlike other companies stuck below 25W, type C converter, case, headphones in some cases, etc.

Stupid decision. Most people wont have an optimal one, some people wont have one at all. Its a lazy easy cash grab in the name of saving the environment. Expected it from apple but not everyone else. Shame

My issue is whether or not those old chargers have the capacity to fast charge newer phones. I’ve gotten varying results from my old chargers and third party chargers off Amazon.

Funny, isn't it? Fairphone has always never included a charger in the box in the first place, even for the current 3 and 3+, and yet no one bat an eye to it. When Apple did the same thing, most Android OEMs follow suit. This makes me totally appreciate less popular brands like Sony and ASUS to name just two as they don't follow Apple trends and be themselves.
