rizki1, 18 Aug 2021i3 for $600?? Redmibook 15 same processor, storage and ram ... moreYou do get an *excellent* display with the realmebook, and an arguably better build quality

This reeks of soldered unupgradable RAM and I'm sorry to break it to everyone here but 8GB of RAM is a lowend laptop nowadays with rather limited longevity.

      Sorry, I'm a hard pass.

Edit: indeed, RAM is soldered https://www.realme.com/in/realme-book

      There's no HDMI port.

These metallic bodies are very annoying. Should have used a different material.

Also, bad timing to get Windows 10, when 11 is just around the corner. Sure, they will offer some free upgrades to 11, but nothing compares to a clean installation.

This is brilliant. Seems to have the best display of the class, thunderbolt, USB c charging, Iris graphics, looks ain't bad, metallic build. This isn't overpriced. This is basically Chinese Microsoft surface.
If thermals and build quality hold up, then it's a great deal.

So I felt it as one of better option. Its price in India is slightly higher side (about 20% more than their home country), still looks quality product for the price.
The good part with these Chinese manufacturers are they more quick to adapt new techs than established manufacturers..

i3 for $600?? Redmibook 15 same processor, storage and ram just $400 in Indonesia.

Laptop like zenbook 14 with ryzen 5 and mx350 is Around $600, if you go higher you get something like Aspire 7 with ryzen 5 5500u and Gtx 1650 for around $800.

Looks like it compete with the matebook 14 amd

Maybe they could have come up with an introductory price of under 50k for the 512gb variant. At least then people would have bought it and after good reviews (if any) come out, people would have been more amenable to spending 60k on a Realme laptop.

                                1440p, 3:2, would be a good buy!

Latest gen ryzens would have made this a best seller. Also, there is no 1TB option, that's a bummer. Another minor gripe is the placement of the usb-c ports on the same side. They have included usb-c charging then they could have made it better by placing the usb-c ports on either sides. That would have been so nice.

Rupak Techy, 18 Aug 2021A very overpriced Laptop,[ i5 variant ~ under 55000 is ok] Really? Care to point to a laptop with 1440p display, 3:2 display and Thunderbolt 4 at the price you are quoting? Or under 60K? Come back when your "September" ends.

I am not at all endorsing Realme and am pretty apprehensive of a mobile brand selling laptops as that's a completely different segment which needs much more customer support and service.

But simply bad-mouthing an extremely competitve and feature rich laptop at such a good price is showing nothing but your ignorance of the laptop market.

Indians, calm thyselves. It must be made in China, thus the difference in pricing. TAXES!!
