Most of the phones in that model have the issue - its phenomenal when it comes to value and sports a good camera (from Samsung afaik). I wish I can convince any offline store to open the pack and buy it if it doesn't have the proximity sensor issue. Alas !

In other articles, he kept saying owned many Xiaomi phones but always saying how bad they are. His arguments are just illogical. Normal/real people would just move to other brands if Xiaomi so terrible for them. Why keep buying phones from Xiaomi like he claimed he did, right?

Even though they have done great in updates department,in last couple of years taking place of our beloved One Plus, they still lack value to money ratio. Especially A series. They are giving Snapdragon 720G at 350USD and we are getting same in Poco M2 Pro in 140USD. Better phone in every sense.

As a very active Mi Community member and owner of various Xiaomi phones also on behalf of other members the only thing i can say is that together with other active members in that forum we are praying for the day we throw our Xiaomi phones in the trash and finally switch to another brand.
In my case i can't wait to be the first person to buy Pixel 6 Pro and forget the existence of cheap chinese phones.
All these news about Xiaomi being the first or the second top seller and whatnot can only sound as a joke for experienced Xiaomi users like us and we will never get convinced.
Just have a look in any Redmi phone forum in Mi Community which are supposed to be the top selling products that made this company famous on the first place.
I used to be more active commenting in Xiaomi news articles but it is pointless as soon i hope i will have nothing in common to that company and besides they never care about their issues or bugs or anything so it's really a waste of time judging from their forums as well.

Own a Poco X3 NFC on android 11 and just received the MIUI 12.5 update. For a phone that cost me under £200 in the UK I can't fault either the hardware or software and the specs are phenomenal for a phone at this price. It puts the likes of apple and Samsung to shame and don't even get me started on Nokia. I don't get the MIUI hate as I came from stock android and absolutely love it. It has some great features and yes it has an odd bug but nothing that other much more expensive phones don't suffer with and nothing that spoils the enjoyment of using it. I'm no brand loyal fan of any manufacturer but while Xiaomi/Poco/Redmi etc keep making great phones that undercut the opposition I can totally understand why they number 1 around the world at 5he moment. Apple will always go their own way but android manufacturers especially Samsung need to take notes from Xiaomi or continue to lose market share to them. Peace ✌️

Good news. Since samsung will continue to get more profit from each sales of xiaomi/redmi phones. Nice to know that xiaomi and samsung working together to make good phones.
