Weekly poll: the Redmi 10 has many upgrades, but will it have many buyers?

Oneplus N100 4+64 was £99 recently, you could get realme 8 6+128 and realme 8 5G 4+64 for £109 with £50 off voucher code few days ago, Redmi Note 10s 6+64 and Note 5G 4+64 are going for £139 at the moment...
I simply don't see a reason to buy Readmi 10 since 4+64 is probably going to cost £109-119. I would happily pick one if I can get it for yesterday's Note 9 3+64 (£89, £74 first order) or less.

Dont worry the price will drop just like the previous redmi 9 which i bought for 121$ for the 4/64. I hope the highest variant price drops like that

For that price range is a very high upgrade.
I love it and many of my customers will too.

AnonD-909757, 29 Aug 2021Since when "Side fingerprint sensor" is an upgrad... moreFor me rear fingerprint sensor is much better than side one. Both function similarly as a fingerprint sensor. But the one thing I hate about side mounted one is that it is too sensitive like when I barely touch it, it will already unlock the phone and also beinging up the notifications menu. Plus when using a case i have to really force my thumb into the sensor because of how little it protrudes from the phone. The only postive it has over rear mounted sensor is that it does not have a huge hole in the back

It's an amazing upgrade to the 9. Sure. BUT. With the price increase it now sits in Note or realme number series territory, and only a few bills away from POCO territory, which makes it a very uncompelling option at this point in time. At least in the European market.

AnonD-909757, 29 Aug 2021Since when "Side fingerprint sensor" is an upgrad... moreyeah, i guess it's just preference. when you simply want to turn off the screen and you have to do it with the tip of route nail: otherwise it locks the whole thing... most annoying feature in my opinion. the only positive side of it is so that each time they get to know it's me at that location using it, nothing else. with the rear one if i pressed the power 9 times out of 10 it shut the screen and i could pocket the phone. now i have to double and triple check each time..

Dudenoway, 29 Aug 2021What u mean? It says it has nfc bruhThe review actually says:
"With all being said, the Redmi 10 may often miss from one's potential shopping list due to its rather limited availability. At the time of this review, the Redmi 10 is available only to select markets and is sold via AliExpress. Not to mention the base 4GB/64GB memory variant is almost always out of stock. The phone also lacks NFC so contactless payments are a no-go."
But I see it now. It does appear to have NFC.
