Red Magic 6S Pro teasers hint at graphene cooling, no changes to the design

30 August 2021
The phone will have a fan to help cool the Snapdragon 888+, but the graphene will help carry the heat from the chip to the fan more efficiently.

Anonymous, 31 Aug 2021Graphene is $50000 per gram. Nice try Nubia. LiarWell, obviously this isn't "true" graphene, this is probably graphene oxide or reduced graphene oxide, and in my previous answer, on the website I linked you can see there is a 200€/g reduced graphene oxide and here :
https://www.cheaptubes.com/product/single-layer-graphene-oxide-1-20um/
A single layer graphene oxide, obviously this one is high oxide, but keep in mind that depending on the application it can be totally fine, mainly here for its thermal properties.

Of course, "graphene" is more of a buzz word, like how a phone with "5x Zoom" don't have any zoom capabilities but only a 5x fixed magnification.

There is a huge difference between the commercial and technical/scientific use of the same word, which is sadly used often to lure the users into thinking it is something better than it is.
Like all those LED displays that were only LED backlight regular LCD and who forced "real" led to be called Oled, and now the "real real" led to be Miniled and Microled.
Or the "hoverboards" who don't hover at all.
Etc, etc.
So, in this case, you are right, this isn't true graphene, even with high purity, it is still graphene oxide.

Anonymous, 31 Aug 2021Other uses for the card slot? for example?*Transfer files without issues, let's say you want to take a load of pics of a friend of you, he gives you an SD card, and you just hand him back, simple as that, no need for Wi-Fi, cloud or using a computer in between.
*Making back-ups, mainly nowadays that ransomware are also on Android.
      *Easier times when using bootloaders.

If only such a gaming phone had :
*A good camera setup (by that, I mean, no sub-12Mp UltraWide and a 3x Telephoto, nothing more fancy), OIS and 720p@960fps.
*Independent SD card slot (there are still tons of uses other than just expanding the memory).
                  *Ultrasonic FPS.
                  *IR Blaster.

I would really want to have it.

There are graphene factories/manufactures all around the world now and more products start to slowly adopt it.

Graphene is exactly that, a single layer of graphite.

Graphene is impossible to make in large scale.
