The only meaningful upgrade of windows 11 has been delayed, and I wouldn't take Microsoft's word since the surface duo.

An even more free upgrade to the computer is installing a Linux distro.

the 8th gen and up processor requirement is just stupid. Basically killing all laptops launched before 2018 out. that is 3years of support as gen 8 although launced december 2017 got into stores Q2 2018

i have a i7-7700H workstation that will not get it and that is just Bull considering Atoms and Celerons that have problems booting win10 will.

hate to say this...but better of with Macs if this is the new Microsoft approach

They baked apple, will get 0 euro from amazon store lol. Looks like 2022 though.
Great to see it coming, technically they could launch also ios apps, but guess what happened.
This will also definitely boost tablet sales as you get 4in1 instead of 3in1, being also sort of android tablet. Now they just need to launch hi performance Win365 to take on hi end chips in notebooks. How nice is goes slowly together.

I myself was waiting for Win 11 with bated breath just because of this. Now I can't find any justifiable reason to quickly update anymore. I'd rather wait for the Android app support first.
