    Windows 10 works much better than Windows 7 and 8.1 too. No more bsod and Nvidia driver crashes in my really old laptop. Will install Windows 11 if I can bypass that annoying blocks.

      I can certainly wait till the release.
      M$ will manage to mess things 100 times up till then.
      Right now it seems they do not even know what they are releasing and for what hardware.

        Microsoft trying to force a reason to upgrade. But when you develop software for the public who’s prime function is to enable word processing, web surfing, excel, visual and some other stuff like gaming and zoom calls etc.. we got all that already. Change the game or leave me alone !

                Last time I updated my Windows, it was from the 7 to 10! My laptop was fantastic with Windows 7, after updating it to Windows 10, it started to deteriorate until I wasn't able anymore to use it!

                            The interface changes on Windows 11 are horrible. You can't customize the taskbar hardly at all anymore. You can't move it to the side of the screen or the top. This is really dumb for widescreen monitors. Microsoft seems to just want to make Windows look more like macOS. Blech.

                                      Monkey D. Dragon, 31 Aug 2021I thought with more updates would come RAM optimization one can only dream about that with windows/android devices, mine right now uses 30% of the 8gb while idle, and i don't have any junk running in the background.

                                        I definitely would love to try out Microsoft's new desktop OS, but I don't think that my current 2014 laptop with Silvermont Intel Pentium CPU is up for the job. Either I can buy any current brand new laptop running Windows 10 or wait for future laptops with Windows 11 pre-installed out of the box.
