YUKI93, 03 Sep 2021For macOS maybe, but definitely not for iPad and iPhone sin... moreIf iPad would be available with "touch-friendly" MacOS, Apple would sell iPads mostly. But they wanted to sell both Macbook and iPad to the same person. And, Apple fans are buying both! No wonder Apple has so much cash in hand.

Anonymous, 03 Sep 2021That is true but 4GB (!) of RAM, even Apple abandoned that ... moreFor macOS maybe, but definitely not for iPad and iPhone since iPad 10.2 (2020), iPad Air (2020), iPhone 12 mini, and iPhone 12 still have 4GB of RAM. But then again, since when Apple ever made a macOS-powered tablet in the first place. They could have just saved all the trouble of developing iPadOS and rewrite macOS to be touch-friendly as Microsoft did with Windows 10, but they didn't.

Pttw, 03 Sep 2021Nice but omg 4gb Ram, its Windows & 2021, 8gb should be... moreBut then again, Surface Go isn't mean to be a powerhouse in the first place unlike the Surface Pro and the Surface Book. This is suitable for people who only want a compact-sized tablet for non-intensive work and media consumption.

I'm still waiting for Surface Go with Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 or 8c ARM CPU. That would be sweet.

[deleted post]May not be for you, but a desirable detachable for many of us. Easier to handle than the Pro version, cheaper, and sufficiently powerful.

Microsoft failed to leverage Surface Go 2 especially in India. No availability from standard dealers, terrible pricing, and horrendous support according to some buyers. I have zero hope on this version 3.
Good that Dell is now coming up with Surface alternatives (2-in-1 with a detachable keyboard). Lenovo has one, but their support is non-existent in India.
