How come samsung S20/Plus/Ultra gets the september security patch first,
when the S21 ultra which i have, as not yet received the september security patch yet.......

Samsung should provide long term support for its devices like Apple. I am an Android user considering to buy Iphone only for its reliability and long term support.

You should list specific CSCs that are receiving update, instead of vague "If you live in Europe". ;)
Even if your Samsung runs multi CSC firmware, you are bound by your active CSC release schedule. Some CSCs already received the update, some will hopefully get it by the end of the month, while some might skip a month completely, courtesy of Samsung's software update idiocy...

Most time a had samsung phones like s2 and s5... When I had S7 with the latest patch of security phone just dead afther week ... no factory reseting no nothing helped and repair was no worth it any more

I have S21 Ultra. I am living in Romania and received today 4 Sept. the security patch for August.
Did someone with the same phone received the patch for September or this is only valid for S20 range?

Bigmeme, 04 Sep 2021Samsung really upped their software update game 😳They've actually been on top of the game for a pretty while now. I was looking one review where they tracked updates of several brands and bunch of them had huge release delays and skipped bunch of security updates. Samsung was the only one next to Google itself to deliver every single security update on time every month and never skipping any. There was even an instance where Samsung released update to Galaxy S models before Google did to Pixel phones. That's pretty impressive.
