Anonymous, 07 Sep 2021Ohh look! Another MacBook!! But keep your kidneys intact.

Phone Reviewer, 07 Sep 2021Why, why would xiaomi put a TN panel on a nearly $700 lapto... moreThere is not a single offering from any brand in this price in India (where laptops and PCs are way expensive than rest of the world, unlike smartphones) which have better color accuracy than this.
Viewing angles could have been made a bit better, though. But this, in no way, is behind the competition in any aspect, here in India. In fact, it's much better better than American offerings like HP and Dell.

Good at least this thing has a 1080p panel
Aside from the colour accuracy and overall Quality, where I am from, It is impossible to find a laptop with a 1080p panel (even a low grade) below USD650/-
I do not understand why still laptop manufacturers are putting out laptops with 1366x768 displays when even the budget phones now come with 1080p. Sad really

Phone Reviewer, 07 Sep 2021Why, why would xiaomi put a TN panel on a nearly $700 lapto... moreWhile it is tempting to compare the $685 price mentioned here with the $999 M1 MacBook Air, the truth is that the $685 figure is obtained by converting the INR 49,999 India price to USD. Meanwhile, the cheapest MacBook Air costs INR 92,900 in India, which is $1269. Nowhere near the price of this laptop.

No expandable RAM means - trash! This laptop is trash!

Why, why would xiaomi put a TN panel on a nearly $700 laptop? I won't talk about it having only full-HD resolution, but being a TN panel and having abysmal viewing angles and colours, must be a deal breaker for anyone spending this much on a laptop. After all, this laptop is only $300 or so away from the excellent M1 Macbook Air. I'm no fan of Apple, but for once an apple device has better value than a xiaomi.

Sorry how can this be entry level? There's a non pro for around $400

this could have been better or cheaper faster with an AMD Ryzen but for this money, not far from a Macbook Air

Looking at the display, the M1 MacBook Air at USD1000 seems like a much better deal, I think.
