    I had an update start to download and saw it said "security update" and remembered some were speculating it may be a potential cause of pixel 3s bricking. while I realize they have been bricking since last December, with the biggest increase right before this update came out, I still didn't want to take any chances. I cancelled the download, made sure automatic updates was disabled under the developer mode options, and decided I'd just continue on without it.

                    I've turned off the automatic update on my Pixel 3, and I'll wait to see if there's any adverse effects from the latest one before I do update. Google has no excuse for remaining silent on the EDL brick. Once they come up with a fix,(if there is one) they'll acknowledge a problem exists, but their refusal to publicly address the issue is cowardly and unacceptable IMHO. I've owned nothing but Google phones since the Nexus 4, but they've lost me as a loyal customer for the foreseeable future.

                      done updated on my blueline,i was expecting stable release of Android 12,but i think I'll wait little longer
