I dont get it why S3 is so popular? the screen is bad and its build quality is worse compared to T/TX

... Sweet Jebus people, stop blowing this statement out of proportion. The reason he compared it to the iPhone 5 and GS3 are because those are the current top dogs of the smartphone world, and will be the top dogs with the new Xperia flagship launches. We have no idea when the successors to those phones will launch, and have no idea what their specs and features will be, so it's pretty damned hard to say they're building a phone to compete with THOSE phones, when we know nothing about them!
Going by what we've learned so far, the specs of the new Xperia flagship should be WAY more than enough to crush the iPhone 5 and GS3. 1080p white magic display, 13 MP Exmor RS sensor, dragontrail glass front and back, water and dust resistant... it should be one helluva phone. We can only hope Sony launches it in a timely manner

you better watch and see of what sony can bring. since from sweden to japan.. don't prejudge since sony is the sexiest, and classy smartphone that gonna bump your head. now its fully owned by sony. you will see different. just MAKE BELIEVE.

lol, Sony will be releasing a mobile which will rival iphone 5 and Samsung galaxy s3 in 2013 but by than they will be older models and there will be better mobile from samsung S4 and maybe from apple as well.

When sony release quad core phone ,samsung will lunch phone that it has 7 core phone with 4 GB ram.
Iphone5 is not rival to s3 even Sony experia S and samsung galaxy S2 have same spec as iphone5

the legendary walkman brand is still struggling to make its mark.It is clear that apples ipod is a clear winner in this segment because sony just stopped innovating the brand . A walkman flagship that will smatch the ipod tough 5g will bring so much joy to the walkman fans

Seems counter productive that they'd release something to compete so late. Samsung will likely launch an SIV by the end of Q2 and there's already speculation on the 5s.

Apple = American but made in china
Samsung = Korean
Hua Wei = Chinese
HTC and Asus = Taiwanese
Nokia = Finland
But no Japanese company.

Sony will be lucky to have anyone foolish enough to one of their smartphones unless they start an intensive customer care program and become better fixing their version of Android and timecrapp as the ICS on the Xperia S was rushed and incomplete with so many bugs in it not even Google could fix for them. On the box it should say BUYER BEWARE this phone will be old and forgotten by next Thursday. never going to Sony again, I'm selling up and YES getting an iPhone 4S, good bye Sony it wasn't fun Turooo
