Shadows, 14 Sep 2021Samsung has sort of become overpriced nowadays, atleast her... moreSamsung was over priced all the time. Difference is that they stayed over priced while there was coming new brands like Xiaomi that give you same specs for half of the price or even third of the price.

Xfade, 13 Sep 2021The pad was not global! You could only buy import models!Go back to school to learn how to read and understand what you read. Pad 5 was released in China first like most of there phones are released China first. Also Pad 5 was meant to be released globally afterwards in middle of September and it was not meant to be exclusive to China only. Maybe this time it be more clearer for you to understand what was written before

Anonymous, 14 Sep 2021Wait for the launch. I think that these prices are waaaayy ... moreIndeed! Xiaomi needs something new to compete with the Nord2 camera abilities (likely the "vanilla" 11T), and they'll hopefully try to get the upper-hand in this segment with a slightly more expensive true flagship killer like the 11T Pro. The 10T Pro already had strong credentials here, all we needed was a proper AMOLED screen with enough peak brightness to playback HDR content and allow for better direct sunlight use.
I can't help but feel the SD870 was a better chipset for that job than the SD888, but hey... maybe Xiaomi is just overly aggressive in ticking all the boxes for a "flagship killer" (hopefully).

Anonymous, 14 Sep 2021This is why it became no.1 in Europe right? The became number 1 because huawei fell. Just image a p50 pro without American restrictions launched in March...

Are they kidding us? HM2? How are they making worse cameras systems than their own 2 years old uper midrange mi note 10(HMX+5x(-ish) +2x+20mp UW. I want a xiaomi note 11 with gm2(or Hp1 if available) , 5x periscope, imx 766/imx 686/imx 586 UW, snapdragon 778G, 90hz-120hz amoled fhd+(honestly even 60 would be fine), 5000mah and 55w charging for 600-650€

r33fd, 13 Sep 2021These prices are crazy.
What's going on? Wait for the launch. I think that these prices are waaaayy to much considering the price of Mi11 today. Also, under Mi name, there's no phone between 400-600$/euros. So I think the real prices will be 450 for the 11T and 550 for T pro.
Anything above will make these phones too expensive. These should fight with Nord 2/A72 and s21 FE.

zillion, 14 Sep 2021Haha, but don't forget xiaomi's basic rules. Xiao... moreI think that figure you are using might be from a long time ago. For their current quarter (to July 2021) the gross profit margin for the company was 17.3%. Net profit margin was 7%. Take Huawei as an example. Their net profit margin was 8.1% last year for comparison. Not a huge difference. It is hard to compare some of these companies though as companies like Huawei and Samsung are involved in lots of different types of business and invest in their own technology whereas Xiaomi mainly focuses on consumer products. I don’t think you can know Oppo, Vivo and Realme’s profit margin as they don’t publish their accounts.
