Everyone moaning about how expensive Xiaomi is becoming.. um use your brain and realise. As technology becomes more advanced things become more pricey. And also there's something called inflation. U can't expect a phone to have the latest CPu, gpu ,soc,120hz 5000mah battery 65W charger super amoled 100+MP main sensor and that to cost all less than 500 USD.
The GSMArena community is so brain-dead sometimes

Why? Xiaomi seems to release some slight variation every month or so, to keep in the news cycle and upsell the easily excited. This strategy may work for cheap phones, but as prices move higher, people expect flawless software and support, which is not exactly the case with Xiaomi.

Weird that the price difference in Euro and £ are so big. Probably best to order from UK and get the phones cheaper. The value of a £ and € isn't that much different that the price difference is 100-200 in the numbers

While Xiaomi is 1st place in Europe selling phones they have made there name already enough. 2nd place in the world.
They still will have Redmi brand for more budget segment and also Poco that is for performance in budget
And Xiaomi have proven that they make quality build phones and now will have a price for them that give you that premium quality feel for it with the placebo effect you have with Apple, Samsung, Sony and Nokia

Pad 5 was known to be released globally in September and was not exclusive to China only from the start. Where did this exclusively to China is coming to this news ? Like really annoying for a tech site to just copy paste articles and not pay attention to what it contains and what you have released as news before.
Also that 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates is old news and i was waiting to see if this site will even make a news for it
