[deleted post]Because rich people in US don't use Android phones... Show me 10 celebrities (actual celebs of same caliber as those in The fappening) that were spotted with phone that isn't an iPhone. So, it's not about security of OS but rather prevalence of certain phone/OS among targeted people.

[deleted post]LOL, look at this guy, literally mocking company for fixing security issues, like it's something bad because they FIXED the issue. I'll just ask, what Android phone are you using and what OS version it has? When did it get its last security update? 3 years ago? 5 maybe? More?

Anonymous, 14 Sep 2021Ios and privacy are like oil and water, they don't mix You say that while handing over all your life to Google's hands and even defend it. LOLZ Even if you don't use anything from Google they still hoard everything about you. On iOS, if you don't use Apple services, you pretty much don't really exist for them and they frankly don't care if you do for as long as you buy their devices and use their services like iTunes or Apple TV or pay for extra iCloud space.

And even at that point, privacy is split into two. Personal privacy and general privacy. Personal privacy is also excellent where your girlfriend or neighbor can't just spy on you. General privacy, well, not so much given how all companies spy on all of us, starting with Android's main contributor, Google itself.

Abyss, 14 Sep 2021finally my iphone will be securewhat ever the OS secure or not but you still using whatsapp, youtube, facebook, google or any browser via cookies they can spy you as well.

                                relax kid.
android was built since the beginning to collect users data and that's why android exists
