                                It basically makes no difference in everyday life.

                                It's a fact that faster charging hurts battery life more. Trust me, the "800 charging cycles on 120W charging" vs. 500 cycles on 10W charging is pure marketing sh*t. So you're telling me that the xiaomi's battery is 18x less prone to degrading than the iPhone's battery? Quite far-fetched, ngl.

                                    Ideally there should be some advertising regulatory authority to enforce such accuracy, but we don't seem to be terribly close to that happening.
                                    In my view the no more meaningful between "N-1 times more" and "N times as much as" is the second one in terms of being intutive, but indeed the phrasing should be accurate.
                                    Not to talk about misleading comparisons like when the basis of comparison is either something else than what one would intuitively expect (like in the case you noted) or is kept unclear or vague ("vs leading competitor", which can mean many different things)
