These countries where they have child labor are poor countries and these children are happy to work and maybe be even the only income for there families. Also these masses of people who get under paid are happy to even have a job to get to live there life. And all these wester brands are all using the labor of these people just to make a lot of profit.
I am not willing to pay 2-3 times the price for a garbage just so the workers salary will be good. I dont care how they justify the high price for the garbage. Also i dont like this European brands who justify there high price for what ever product that it's hand made. Well same product in a different brand from Asia is also hand made but the product price is 1 tenth of what it is European handmade. It's just lame excuse cause all the TAX in EU and what you need to pay for workers cause of the minimum pay for the country and so on is so high that your product needs to cost a lot more then it's worth to have any profit to make sense to have the company floating

zaryan, 15 Sep 2021another fairphone with an unfair priceFairphone is a totally independent company after all. After all, they don't rely on underpaid overtime workers as Foxconn did*. In case if you aren't aware, Foxconn is the biggest supplier for Apple's iPhone production. Frankly, I'd be way more than happy to pay the so-called "unfair" price in return for an ethical working environment and the right to repair movement alongside environmental sustainability.

They don't only care about just the phone, they also care about the workers who made the phone. Best of luck finding underpaid overtime and child workers in Fairphone, you won't see one.

6.3" screen and 6GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB internal storage? That is a MASSIVE upgrade over the 3 and 3+. If Fairphone uses at least Snapdragon 750G chipset for this new-gen model, 11 out of 10 I would buy one immediately!

Also another big plus is that these phones are very repairable compared to the glass slabs that are glued together that we get nowadays.

It should be a Weirdphone and not fairphone. there is nothing fair about this phone. Cost 600 euro and has large bezels with teardrop notch. It's like it's maid from old parts from old phones as a recycling phone
