They couldn't even make a screen that lasted more than 3 months on my 4a5g (just stopped working no drops or damage) not gonna trusted a folding device.

Good thing Xiaomi is rapidly improving MIUI and the old versions we had 3-4 years ago are a farcry from what we have currently.
I hope MIUI 13 improves on it.

If we go with your statements, then this Pixel Fold will be super unsurprising and a sorry attempt by Google to mimic Samsung. Who cares. That's a different story. Has it been leaked yet? No. Was the original Fold leaked? No.

No one anticipated the sledgehammer that Threadripper was gonna be by AMD until they actually announced it in 2017.
Yeah Google does not care about leaks as its free marketing but this time, it looks like they are all in with the Pixels. And personally, me and my Flip 3 will be super excited.

Google buys parts from other companies, and when there would be deals to buy those parts, then there would be leaks

Maybe (Samsung) surprised people in the West who never get anything (truly innovative) from China so assume those don't release...

IF it's not using LTPO, Shiouldn't it be cheaper then, BY a LOT (Considering no Telephoto as well).

i think i... moreI wish I could say the same thing - but im doubtful this will be consumer ready anytime soon.
The problem is the sliding/scrolling screen sitself. Have you tried the Motorola Razr? In an obvious attempt to avoid the crease and to give it a gap-less fold, the screen bends, slides and moves a little when opening and closing. It felt flimsy, somewhat unstable and a little bit too fragile to use. Do you see where it is now? Im afraid rollable screen will employ the same technique and unlike samsung which only has to worry about central foldable area, rollable screen will have at least half the screen bending and rolling, so it it may be harder to protect and to stabilize.
I would however be one of the first ones to line up when this tech becomes available.
