Kangal, 19 Sep 2021I can promise you that Apple will not be removing the notch... moreI agree on the S and base versioning style but disagree on the order... iPhone 12 was a base while 13 is the S. Next year will be a base and btw a faster and advanced processor will be more battery efficient as it translates to a smaller node size (expected to be 3 nm). Having smaller transistors is energy efficient because they take up less space for the same amount of processing compared to the previous version. It also translates to less power consumption, among other optimizations.

Face Id us a Disaster. They could have improved by providing both touch id and face Id thereby eliminating the problem of face Id not working with mask, but this lazy company knows a bunch of wild fans will justify poor implementation as a always because of apple logo. This is why android sells in the billions and iPhones are stuck at mere 200 million

Peak iPhone design came with the 4 and 5 from 2010-2013.

5S had the chamfered edges the 2016 SE lacked. But the SE1's Apple logo on the back was stainless steel.
